Coronation Street Stars to visit Sunderland Empire this September

For the first time ever, the legendary stars of the world’s longest-running soap are stepping off the famous cobbles and onto the stage for an unforgettable evening! An Audience with Coronation Street is hitting the road, and the response has been nothing short of phenomenal.

Due to popular request, we’re delighted to announce a brand-new date in the North East at Sunderland Empire on 21 September, giving even more Corrie fans the chance to experience this once-in-a-lifetime event.

This is your exclusive chance to get up close and personal with your favourite Corrie stars as they spill behind-the-scenes secrets, share hilarious stories, and relive heart-warming moments from the iconic ITV show. Hosted by This Morning’s resident soap expert Sharon Marshall, this spectacular live show is packed with laughter, nostalgia, and more than a few jaw-dropping surprises.

In the first half of the evening, the audience will enjoy a warm, lively interview session with some of Coronation Street’s most beloved cast members. Ever wondered what happens between takes? Curious about off-screen friendships, rivalries, and real-life laughs? Now’s your chance to hear all the juicy details straight from the stars themselves.

Then, just when you think the night couldn’t get any better, there’s a showstopping twist. A very special guest, a true Coronation Street legend, will make a surprise appearance live on stage. Who will it be? We’re keeping that under wraps… Corrie-style!

Sunderland Empire’s date will feature five Coronation Street stars live on stage, including a surprise Corrie legend. Confirmed fan favourites include Jack P Shepherd (David Platt)Julia Goulding (Shona Platt), Sam Aston (Chesney Brown) and Jodie Prenger (Glenda Shuttleworth).

Whether you’ve been a devoted viewer since 1960 or you’ve only just fallen in love with Weatherfield, An Audience with Coronation Street promises an evening of laughter, nostalgia, and exclusive stories you won’t hear anywhere else.
